South Point Church Christmas Offering 2025

Every Christmas season, we are reminded that God stepped into our world in the most unexpected way — in a humble manger, in an ordinary town, offering extraordinary hope. That same spirit of hope, generosity, and sacrifice is what shapes our Christmas Offering each year.

This offering is more than a moment…
It’s a statement of faith.
It’s a step of obedience.
It’s an investment into what God is doing right here in our church, in our city, and in the lives of people who need the hope of Jesus.

Our Two Primary Giving Focuses This Year

1. Honoring Pastor Dave With a Retirement Gift After 15+ Years of Faithful Leadership
This year, we have the special opportunity to honor Pastor Dave as he steps into retirement after more than 15 years of faithfully leading and shepherding South Point Church as our Lead Pastor. His dedication, sacrifice, and steady leadership have shaped the heart and identity of our church.
A portion of this year’s Christmas Offering will go toward blessing him with a retirement gift that reflects the deep gratitude and love we have for all he has poured into this body over the years.

2. Doubling Our Giving to Our Community Partners
In 2026, we are believing God to expand our reach beyond our walls by doubling our financial investment into our community partnering ministries. These partners are on the front lines serving families, meeting needs, and sharing the hope of Jesus throughout our city. Your giving helps us fuel their work and strengthen our impact in the places God has called us to serve.

Additional Areas of Vision and Impact

3. Strengthen Our Church
Your generosity helps us continue building ministries that change lives — from SPKids to students, small groups, worship, local outreach, and discipleship. We want to enter 2026 healthy, strong, and ready for everything God is calling us to.

4. Expand Our Reach
We want to make more room for people who are far from God to experience His love. Your giving helps us improve our spaces, grow our environments, and create more opportunities for people to take their next step in faith.

5. Invest in the Next Generation
From our kids to our students to our young families, South Point is shaping the future. Your generosity pours directly into creating safe, dynamic, faith-building environments for the next generation of our church.

6. Bless Our City
As God has blessed us, we want to bless others. A portion of this year’s offering goes directly toward outreach efforts that serve families in need, support our schools, and bring hope to our community during the holiday season.

Why We Give

Christmas reminds us that God gave first.
He gave His best.
He gave His Son.

Our Christmas Offering is one way we respond to that kind of love — not out of pressure, but out of gratitude, worship, and a desire to be part of what God is building.

How You Can Participate

We are asking every family in our church to:
-Pray about how God would have you give.
-Prepare a special offering above your regular tithes.
-Partner with us as we believe God for a powerful year ahead
.
Whether your gift is large or small, every amount makes a difference when it comes from a heart of faith and obedience.

Together, Let’s Finish 2025 Strong

Chelsea and I are deeply thankful for your generosity, your faithfulness, and your commitment to the mission of South Point Church. Because of you, lives are being changed every single week.

Let’s step into this Christmas season with open hands and expectant hearts — believing that God will once again use the generosity of His people to write stories of hope, healing, and transformation.

Thank you for being a church that gives, loves, serves, and believes God for big things.
